The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has suspended the non-bailable arrest warrants issued against PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the Toshakhana reference until March 13. The court also directed Imran to appear before the district and sessions court on that date. Imran is accused of concealing details of gifts he received from the Toshakhana repository in his assets declarations. The court had previously issued the arrest warrants for Imran, and his indictment had been deferred twice before. During the hearing, Imran’s lawyers urged the court to cancel the arrest warrants, but the court remarked that they were not issued for arrests, but to frame charges against Imran in the case. The IHC CJ also warned Imran’s lawyers not to make a joke of the legal system and asked them to be fair with it.
