The Foreign Office (FO) in Pakistan strongly condemned a terrorist attack in Balochistan’s Panjgur district on Wednesday evening in which four security personnel were killed. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the militants used Iranian soil to target a convoy of security forces patrolling along the border. The FO spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, said that Pakistan had asked Iran to hunt down the terrorists on their side and hopes that Iran will take action against those responsible. She also emphasized that Pakistan and Iran have “exemplary brotherly relations” and that Pakistan will not allow its territory to be used for cross-border attacks in Iran, and expects the same from Iran.
