Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan, the Central Vice-President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), criticized the enlargement of the federal cabinet in Pakistan for having over 80 people. He stated that the country was politically unstable and economically weak, yet the ruling elite was obliging certain individuals and ignoring others. He also stated that politicians and the establishment are equally responsible for the current situation in the country. He advised people from all walks of life to raise their voices against the corrupt political system and asked the International Monetary Fund delegation to request the government to share details of all loans and expenditures over the last 20 years. He criticized the current parliament as inactive and inefficient and claimed that the political parties were responsible for the dangerous situation in the country. He also advised PML-N workers to welcome Maryam Nawaz, who is the daughter of Nawaz Sharif, and asked the party workers to raise genuine questions instead of blindly following the leadership.
